The Ziztel AH2/23/26 Acoustic Hood range has been specifically designed to provide reliable service with minimal maintenance in aggressive climatic and environmental conditions.

This is a high performance noise reduction shelter for use on both heavy industrial sites and the Oil & Gas market to house weatherproof or hazardous area telephones. The AH23 and 26 both feature a unique sound insulation liner that enables extremely high signal to ambient noise ratio whilst ensuring excellent fire retardant characteristics combined with stable operation in climatic extremes. The noise reduction within the AH23 and AH26 hood is -23dB and -26dB respectfully which provides an environment where 2-way conversations can be conducted in high ambient noise locations. Corrosion proof construction and quality build ensure performance in applications including Offshore installations, Refineries, Chemical plants and any industrial site where ambient noise inhibits efficient two way voice communications.

The AH2/23/26 is manufactured from rigid fire retardant glass re enforced polyester fibre GRP to class 0 BS476 and is totally rot proof and unaffected by Ultra violet light.
The unit requires no routine maintenance [unlike metallic structures which require costly through life service] and the light weight construction enables simple easy installation. A range of colour options are available which are embedded into the shell of the booth during manufacture ensuring that the colour is stable throughout the life of the product.

Different colours include Yellow, Orange, Red, Blue, Green – special order RAL colours available.
